Mother Sammo Khatun and daughter Sofia missing for two years

Even after two years, the police have not found any clue about the disappearance of Sammo Khatoon and her daughter Sofia (6) from Madipur area of Kazi Mohammadpur police station area of Muzaffarpur. Two years ago, the woman’s father had lodged a missing complaint in the police station. But the police have not been able to find both of them till now. After two years have passed in the case, now the local police is trying to trace the missing mother and daughter by sharing their pictures in various social media groups. The police will soon print their posters and put them up at various places in the city.
According to the information, Sammo Khatoon of Kazi Mohammadpur police station area has been missing with her daughter Sofia alias Taksum from Bakshi Colony of Madipur since December 1, 2022. In this case, the woman’s father, resident of Sadar police station area, Mohammad Mumtaz Alam also lodged an FIR in Kazi Mohammadpur police station on December 6, 2022 after searching for five days. After that, the police tried to trace the missing mother-daughter on the basis of scientific and manual input. But till date no clue has been found.
It is being told that Mohammad Mumtaz Alam had collected information from all his relatives for several days. But even today the father is waiting for his daughter and granddaughter. Now the police is going to investigate this case once again and take action. For this, they are going to collect information by using the picture of both mother and daughter through social media and by printing posters.
